Services · New-Position Apartment Search

You Signed the Contract. Now Find the Apartment That Fits It.

A teaching contract fixes three things at once — where you work, when you start, and roughly what you earn. Most apartment searches ignore all three and hand you whatever is vacant this week. We run the search the other way: your campus, your start date, and your budget go in first, and only communities that fit all three come back out.

Free to renters — the community pays the referral fee.

$0

What the search costs you. The community you lease at pays our referral fee, and your rent is identical either way.

1 day

Our target for your first matched list once we have your contract start date, campus address, and budget.

40+

San Antonio communities on our tracker — pricing and written screening criteria checked before you tour, not after.

In writing

How we verify each community’s income-documentation policy. A leasing agent’s word on the phone is not a policy.

Why this matters

What it costs to do nothing

Search without the calendar and you end up choosing between a lease that starts six weeks before your first paycheck or a unit forty minutes from a 7 a.m. bell. Educators who wait until the contract is countersigned to start looking hit the July market at its tightest, and the good floor plans near the campus corridors are already spoken for.

Why clients choose us for new-position apartment search

  • The list is built around your campus address — every option comes with the actual drive time at early-bell hours, not the midnight-traffic estimate a map app shows at 9 p.m.
  • Lease start is negotiated against your contract start and in-service week, so you are not paying August rent on a unit you could not occupy until August.
  • Pricing and specials are re-verified with the leasing office before you tour — a quoted rate on our list is a rate someone at Luxe confirmed, dated, in writing.
  • It costs you nothing. The community pays our referral fee when you lease, and your rent is the same with us or without us — once per page, said plainly.

The practical answer

Here is the sequence. You send us the campus, the contract start date, the budget, and any hard requirements — floor level, pets, washer connections. Within about a day you get a matched list: real availability, verified pricing, the full fee load, and honest commute math for your bell time. You pick what to tour; we set the appointments and make sure the guest card names us so the service stays free. Approval decisions always belong to each community — what belongs to you is a list you can trust before you spend a Saturday driving to it.

Common questions

I have not signed my contract yet — is it too early to start?
No. The best searches start at the offer stage, because lead time is the one thing that makes the July market manageable. We can build the list around your expected start date and tighten it the day you sign.
How do you handle the commute to my campus?
You give us the campus address and your report time, and we check drive times for that hour — a unit that is fifteen minutes away at noon can be thirty-five at 6:50 a.m. on Loop 1604. Every option on your list carries the early-bell number, not the flattering one.
What does this cost me?
Nothing. The community you lease at pays our referral fee, and your rent is identical either way — the fee comes from their marketing budget, not your pocket. The only thing we ask is that your application names Luxe as the referral source.
Can you promise I will be approved?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Screening decisions belong to each community. What we do is match you to communities whose written criteria you appear to meet, and flag anything in your file worth addressing before you pay an application fee.

Your contract has a start date. Your lease should match it.

Tell us the campus, the start date, and the budget. We come back with a matched list — pricing and income-documentation policy verified in writing — usually within a day.
